Senior Software Developer
Your Profile

Job Specification
As a Senior Software Developer, you are responsible for developing the core components of the VP MicroLab®. You solve complex problems in the fields of interactive 3D graphics and physics, image processing, real-time networking, and haptic rendering. Your focus will be on current state of the art hardware (multi-core CPUs and GPUs) for performing compute-intensive tasks at real time. You will own small/midsize projects in which you take responsibility for requirements setup, design, and implementation, and lead a small team of junior software developers.
Job Requirements
· MS / PhD in Computer Science, related degree, or strong comparable experience.
· 5+ years of professional software development experience.
· Strong understanding of software architecture, OO principles and common design patterns.
· Strong experience in at least one of the following fields: 3D graphics, interactive dynamics (rigid and soft body, fluids), image processing, computer vision, real-time networking.
· Strong experience with C++. Experience with multi-threaded programming is a plus.
· Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional character.
· English is a must, Dutch not....but may help

Job Profile
As a Junior Software Developer, you are responsible for implementing components of the VP MicroLab®. You perform development tasks such as 3D visualization, GUI design, file I/O, image and mesh conversion, real-time networking. Your focus will be on current state of the art hardware (multi-core CPUs and GPUs) for performing compute-intensive tasks at real time. Under supervision of a senior developer you will participate in projects in which you take responsibility for implementing sub tasks.
Job Requirements
· BS / MS in Computer Science, related degree, or strong comparable experience.
· Strong understanding of software architecture, OO principles and common design patterns.
· Experience with 3D graphics (OpenGL) and widget toolkits (wxWidgets) is a plus.
· Strong experience with C++.
· Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional character.
· Willingness to grow and explore.
· English is a must, Dutch not....but may help
