She graduated with honors in product design, is a pioneer, entrepreneur for over 20 years (Owner of Jackie Schooleman Industrial Design and CAVEwoman BV), and is highly experienced in solving complex problems in 3D, in product design & visualization, using Virtual Reality and other high end computer technology.
Mr. Jan Hoefnagels is CFO and Vice President Pharma Business of Virtual Proteins BV. He worked for Shell and ASML in the Netherlands. He is also VP North America. His specialties are general finance, international M&A, strategic alliances, complex agreements like technology co-development contracts (IP related), company strategy.
Mr. Frits Cornelisse is responsible for sales and marketing of medical applications of VP MicroLab. He has 20 years of Sales, Marketing and General Management Experience in the B-B industry (PHILIPS, Sylvania, Desso, MTT Europe).
Mr. Gino van den Bergen is the Chief Technology Officer of Virtual Proteins BV. He is an expert in collision detection and physics. He holds a Ph.D. in computing science from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is the author of the book Collision Detection in Interactive 3D Environments, and also published an article about "Point-Based Visualization of Metaballs on a GPU " in GPU GEMS 3. He developed the SOLID collision detection library that has been applied successfully in top-selling game console titles and 3D CAM applications. He has been senior software engineer at Blender and PlayLogic. At Virtual Proteins BV he is responsible for the development of software for interactive visualization and simulation of complex molecules within the VP MicroLab ®.
Mrs. Trudi Sonderkamp is Chief Science Officer of Virtual Proteins BV. She is a chemical engineer, with a background in scientific research, industrial process optimization and development of medical devices. Life Sciences have always had her greatest interest. She has personally struggled with the problems occurring in molecular modeling with proteins. It is a challenge to work on the development of a highly innovative tool to improve drug design.
